Delivery Information – Discart

At Discart, we aim to provide fast, reliable, and affordable delivery across South Africa. Below is everything you need to know about how we ship your orders.


1. Delivery Areas
We deliver nationwide across South Africa to residential and business addresses. Please note that we do not deliver to P.O. Boxes, and a valid street address is required for all orders.


2. Order Processing

  • Orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.

  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

  • Dispatch only occurs once full payment has been received.


3. Delivery Methods
We use trusted courier partners to ensure safe and timely delivery directly to your door. Deliveries are typically made Monday to Friday during business hours (08:00 – 17:00).


4. Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery times are as follows:

  • Main Centres (e.g. Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban): 1–3 business days

  • Regional Areas: 2–5 business days

  • Remote Areas: 3–7 business days

Please note that delivery times may vary depending on your location and courier schedules.


5. Delivery Costs

  • Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on your location, parcel size, and weight.

  • We may offer free delivery on orders above a specified value (if applicable).

  • Additional charges may apply for remote or outlying areas.


6. Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email or SMS, allowing you to monitor your delivery in real time.


7. Failed Deliveries

  • Please ensure someone is available to receive your order at the delivery address.

  • If delivery is unsuccessful, the courier may attempt re-delivery or contact you to reschedule.

  • Additional charges may apply for repeated failed delivery attempts.


8. Delivery Conditions
Customers must provide accurate delivery information, including access details (e.g. security estates, gate codes, or special instructions). Failure to do so may result in delays or additional fees.


9. Delays & Liability
While we strive to meet all delivery timelines, delays may occur due to:

  • High order volumes

  • Weather conditions

  • Courier or logistical issues

Discart will keep you informed of any significant delays.


10. Damaged or Missing Items
If your order arrives damaged or incomplete, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and supporting photos so we can assist you promptly.
